OfficeAngel.Biz Inaccessable Pages in Text Browsers

The majority of the OfficeAngel.Biz site can be viewed in most text browsers since it is not layed out in tables. However it is necessary for some pages to be layed out in tables which can not be viewed in text browsers and are listed below:

Browser Performance with Text to Speech

Office Angel tested MS Narrator with this site. More sofisticated text to speech programs may not have the same effect or may perform better than the findings Office Angel has documented below:

Since Narrator is also a Microsoft product, Internet Explorer 6.0 performed best with Narrator.
Netscape 7.0 crashed every time Narrator was used. If this is your experience as well, you will either need to use IE or a different text to speech program.

OfficeAngel.Biz with Text to Speech

Office Angel found that Narrator reads a line of each column then reads the next line of each column making it very confusing to understand the content. Therefore instructions for viewing or converting html documents to text format in a variety of ways are demonstrated below. Netscape 6.0 or higher choose style sheet "none" from the View menu.
